All too often AV companies know well how to sell a product but
not how to use it or what it's proper use might be or even how to
install it properly.
As a result of slick overpaid salesmen and under qualified, underpaid
installers, many AV install companies have both willingly and unwittingly
put their clients into systems that are simply a bad match. Often their
salesmen have no practical experience at operating professional sound,
lighting or video systems. Their decisions are often driven by manufacturer
incentives and company commissions. At the Group we have no salesmen, and
never will. We have professional sound engineers and lighting designers who
will custom build and install a system that meets your needs. We choose
product based on performance. We pay special attention to practical application,
meaning we look at every design from a user's point of view. We take into
consideration the circumstances of the purchaser and the needs of the
audience. Like concert production, proper design and install requires a
delicate balance between the needs of the audience, the client and the
facility. The Group is unique because of our comprehensive understanding of
live reinforcement. When designing a sound, lighting or video system, we
design it to work under the most taxing circumstances using only equipment
we know can be trusted to get the job done. The Group utilizes the best in
computer software (wysiwyg, Smaart, EASE and AutoCad) and our Lead Designer
is a member of the Audio Engineering Society and the Acoustical Society of
America, and holds advanced degrees in Physics and Mathematics.
Whether you choose The Group as the primary vendor for your upcoming
project or not, you can hire our organization to design your system from
a user's perspective. Many of our clients have found our expertise to be
particularly valuable simply to determine if the system being purchased is
right for the specific application, no matter the vendor. In the end, nobody
knows more about sound, lighting and video systems than the professionals who
rely on these systems to make the show. Perhaps you aren't doing concerts with
your sound system, but whom better to seek advice from than the guys who are?
